I saw a Mermaaid!!!

Finally, bought Ariel's Beginning last week. I had waited for 2 months as the Singapore's version just came out. The US version costs $63!!! While this only costs $22... See the differences... Watch is 2 times ler...LOL. Once in English and another in Chinese...

Synopsis

See how it all started for one of Disney's most beloved characters in the all-new movie, "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning".

Imagine a time before Ariel met Prince Eric and walked on land - a time when music was banned from the underwater kingdom of Atlantica because of the death of Queen Athena, Ariel's mother. Torn between family duty and her love of music, Ariel must make the most difficult choice of her life. With the help of her friends, Sebastian and Flounder and her six amusing sisters, will the little mermaid be able to restore music, friendship and love to the kingdom?
Interesting, right? Not really...

The storyline is simple and predictable with only about 75 min of running time... Don't watch this movie with high expectations, it will disappointed...
Although the storyline is weak, the animation is impressive (much better than "The Little Mermiad II: Return to the Sea"). Her sisters are very funny and have great character development in this movie... To my horror, Flounder completely changed character!!! From a scared and shy little guppy to a beatboxing fish???
Aside from all the negative points, this is a heartwarming film, though simple, it will surely touched the hearts of all that had enjoyed the first movie... If you're a fan of the original be sure to catch this movie if you have the chance...
